Updated 19 October 2025
  • Category: Maintenance
  • Applies to: Dade Pro (Intel & AMD models)

Battery lifespan is critical for high-end notebooks. Dade Pro uses a 76Wh lithium-polymer cell with smart charge control. Here’s how to keep it healthy.

Smart Charging Tips:

  • Enable Battery Limit Mode in BIOS (caps charge to 80%)
  • Avoid frequent full discharges; aim to stay between 20–80%
  • Use the USB-C dock for daily charging to reduce connector wear

Checking Battery Health:

  • Open GeiG Control Panel → Battery tab
  • Or run powercfg /batteryreport in Command Prompt

Firmware Updates:

Battery firmware is bundled in BIOS releases. Keep BIOS updated every 3–6 months for calibration and thermal tuning.
