BIOS Password Setup for Enterprise

Updated 19 October 2025
  • Category: Enterprise Deployment & Admin
  • Applies to: All Dade Series

Locking the BIOS prevents unauthorised hardware-level changes and secures your fleet at the firmware layer.

Set BIOS Admin Password:

  1. Reboot and enter BIOS
  2. Navigate to Security → Supervisor Password
  3. Enter new password, confirm
  4. Optionally: set User Password for boot-only lock
  5. Save changes and reboot

Recommended Policy:

  • Set Supervisor Password
  • Disable USB Boot, PXE Boot
  • Enable Secure Boot
  • Lock settings with password protection

Lost password? BIOS chip reset must be done via GeiG authorised service provider with proof of ownership.
