Enabling Secure Boot – Dade Series Notebooks

Updated 19 October 2025
  • Category: Enterprise Deployment & Admin
  • Applies to: Dade X, Dade Pro, Dade II, Dade IIi
  • OS: Windows 11 Pro

Secure Boot ensures your PC only runs trusted firmware and OS-level code. It’s critical for zero-trust environments, government IT, and enterprise rollout.

Steps to Enable:

  1. Reboot the device and tap Del or F2 to enter BIOS
  2. Navigate to Security → Secure Boot
  3. Set Secure Boot = Enabled
  4. Confirm Platform Key (PK) is installed
  5. Save changes and exit

If “Secure Boot State = Off” in Windows, ensure system is using UEFI and not Legacy Boot.

Common Errors:

  • Secure Boot won’t enable with Legacy boot enabled
  • Third-party antivirus bootloaders may block key injection
  • TPM must be provisioned and active
