Troubleshooting Wi-Fi Disconnects – GeiG Dade X

If your GeiG Dade X experiences random disconnections or slow throughput, follow these resolution steps.

Immediate Fixes:

  • Ensure latest driver from GeiG Support
  • Disable “Allow this device to save power” under Device Manager
  • Set preferred band to 5GHz only (Wi-Fi properties → Advanced)

Reset Network Stack:

netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig /flushdns

Reboot system after applying.

Router Settings:

Ensure WPA2 or WPA3, not mixed mode

Use fixed channels (e.g. 36 or 149)

Reboot router or update its firmware

Persistent issues? Swap to GeiG USB Wi-Fi Adapter or contact RMA for wireless module check.
